Greenace Contract Cleaners is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Felixstowe.
Position Overview:
The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning the assigned areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for all guests. The Cleaner will keep the rooms neat, clean and organized. The position requires a team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Clean designated areas according to company standards
- Report to work as scheduled
- Follow all health and safety regulations procedures in the position to ensure quality customer service safety
- Report any issues or problems to the Supervisor
- Complete required training certifications within company guidelines
- Maintain a positive attitude towards employees and customers
- Work as a team with other team members
- Work as independently as needed to complete tasks
Required Experience:
- At least 6 months of experience in commerical cleaning (Preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to take direction, follow directions and complete tasks as assigned.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

We currently have an opportunity in Colchester, for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in a school, Monday to Friday, from 4pm to 8pm.
Role Responsibility
As a Cleaning Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty
- Ensuring that the cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building with exceptional standard
- Ordering of cleaning materials
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities
- Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Liaise with the school director
- Ensure all staff clocks in and out
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment
- Previous experience of managing a team
- The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
- Good interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
